OrthoLazer Clinical News: Continuous Education and Collaboration

BIG news about laser therapy and Total Knee Arthroplasty (TKA)!

A recent clinical study, published in Arthroplasty Today, showed significant benefits of incorporating laser therapy into the postoperative care plan for patients undergoing TKA.

This randomized controlled trial demonstrated that patients who received laser therapy after their knee replacement surgery experienced:

  • Significantly reduced postoperative pain levels at 1 week and 1 month compared to patients who did not receive light-based therapy.
  • Improved functional outcomes, including better knee range of motion, walking ability, and stair climbing in the early postoperative period.

OrthoLazer Centers are leading the innovation to optimize surgical aftercare. By effectively managing pain and improving mobility in the crucial early stages following TKA, laser therapy is a pioneering advancement.
