OrthoLazer Clinical News: Continuous Education and Collaboration

It’s true- OrthoLazer Centers continue to lead the advancement of post operative laser therapy in the communities that we serve. Our robotic lasers never need to touch your patient’s surgical site.

This double-blind, randomized controlled clinical trial, published in Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine, provides compelling evidence supporting the efficacy of laser therapy in reducing postoperative pain. Subjects underwent tibial fracture surgery and were treated with either LLLT or a placebo.

Significant Results: Less pain and reduced opioid use for faster recovery following surgery.

  • Pain Reduction: Patients who received laser therapy reported significantly lower pain levels compared to those who received the placebo treatment.
  • Reduced Analgesic Use: The laser group demonstrated a reduced need for opioid analgesics, contributing to safer and more comfortable recovery periods.

Remember! Your endorsement helps surgical patients access the clinical benefits of post operative laser therapy. Patient education materials can be helpful in your practice’s workflow.
